Purchasing Assistant™ moves beyond "punch-out" technology and vendor's special 'contract' sale items. Instead of abandoning individual clients to negotiate pricing for products based on their own resources, the service aggregates member's buying power, offering direct access to national account pricing for thousands of products sold by a wide selection of retail vendors. In doing so, Purchasing Assistant™ manages vendor gross profits by setting margin limits on the spread between the dealer's cost of goods and the program's retail prices. As a result, hard dollar savings average 20% greater (total dollars spent on an annual basis), than individual companies often can negotiate on their own.
